- Most of us are not job search professionals. Sales people come the closest. A job search is a Sales activity. If you are not is sales, learn the basics.
- Job Boards are not the best way to look for a job. One of the major job boards indicates that roughly 50% of applications on job postings never receive a response of any kind. You can imagine that the 50% that do get responses, the majority are rejections.
- Human Resources is not your side in your job search. Their job is to protect the company.
- Networking is crucial.
- Find a way to meet the person who would be your boss or boss’ boss.
Acknowledgement – A job search is intimidating If you are recently unemployed, you day looks a lot differently now. Perhaps you are currently employed and are at a loss for where to begin looking for your next position.

- No task list.
- No appointments.
- No duties.
- NO STRUCTURE.
