This is a strategic planning session to establish the framework for making your resume stand out from among all your competition. Remember to schedule this 30 minute appointment a few days in the future to allow yourself enough time to download and complete a significant portion of the Resume Worksheet. If anything is unclear, don’t worry. You will get the answers to all your questions during your appointment. Until then, you are welcome to send your questions to Resume@JobSearchThatWorks.com.
It’s time to locate your most recent Resume and upload it to me. This will serve as our starting point in the creation of your new one. If you have one, you will also find a place to upload your current Cover Letter too. Although your Resume Rewrite does not include a new Cover Letter, your current one can ofter additional insights that we may want to use in your new Resume. In the event you can only find a hard copy of your resume, you can fax it to (888) 343-4947.
Download your Resume Worksheet. Now this one will require some time. Resist the urge to rush through it just to get it out of the way. Take your time, be thorough and give complete answers. It is tempting to write in “see resume” when filling out the questionnaire, but try to avoid that. You knew you needed a new Resume … we don’t want it to be all the same information on your current one. It is amazing how much more will come to mind when you take the time to thoughtfully answer each question. Remember, the quality of your Resume depends on the quality of your answers.
