Hi and thanks for visiting my website. Yes, that’s me, Raymond Gooch in Sedona, Arizona. I discovered my love for Sedona while visiting one of my three grown children that lived in Phoenix at the time. Now, my wife and I have five grandchildren. Life is good.
I guess I’m a bit of a wanderer by nature. Not only in my travels, but in my work-life too. My first real job out of school was my own rock & roll record store, followed by insurance sales, new home construction, leather crafting (which I still do for a creative outlet), more sales and then in 1986, I was introduced to the recruiting and staffing industry and have been there ever since.
One of the reasons I’m self employed is that I don’t like being driven by the bottom line. Don’t get me wrong … I like making money as well as the next guy. It’s just that my spin on the whole career experience is abit different. I’m one of those guys that believes you should love your life and love your work. Both are not only possible, for me they are both absolutely necessary. And when it comes to career related issues, I don’t know anyone better to turn to to get your career related questions answered than a professional recruiter. You see, we’re paid to know what companies want, and we can’t give them what they want if we don’t know what you want.
So it all boils down to you. That’s really what I’m about. My passion is to uncover all the potential inside you. And one of the most effective ways that can be accomplished is to touch the part of your life that occupies most of your waking hours … your job.
There are a lot of good recruiters out there, but there are a lot of them that care a bit too much about lining their own pockets and forget that they are in a service business not a self-serving business. I was raised to believe that if you do right by people, you will never be without.
I promise to always tell you the truth and make the best recommendation I possibly can to help you take the next step in your life’s journey and along your career path. You may not like hearing what I have to say, but in order for me to sleep at night, I have to do what’s in your best interest. I may not have all the answers, but I’m not afraid to to admit it and then do my best to get the answers you deserve.
